Montauk Row Cottages

Millionaire's Row is not a hotel or bed and breakfast, so we don’t offer daily maid and linen service. The cottages are all outfitted with a full complement of sheets and towels. All renters are encouraged to bring additional towels and sheets for their stay or be prepared to launder the linens and towels provided.

Each of our cottages has a fully equipped kitchen. This means that pots, pans, utensils, plates, and cups are there for your use.

At the beginning of each rental period, the cottage will be stocked with enough paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags to get you started, but you may want to bring those items along or plan to purchase more when you get here should the amount provided not be enough to last your entire rental period.

You will, of course, have access to the gorgeous shore of Fort Pond Bay just feet from all the cottages. We have a rocky beach, and slippery rocks lurk just beyond the water line, so you may want to bring along water shoes for maximum fun in the sun.

None of our cottages have air conditioning, but only because they don’t usually need it. There’s typically a cool breeze coming west to east off the bay. All of the cottages have windows designed to catch the breeze and let the fresh air in! If, however, you require a little extra breeziness to make your visit more comfortable you’ll find fans stowed inside the cottage. Sorry, portable air conditioners are not permitted in any of the cottages.

Parking is not a problem. First Cottage has its own dedicated parking spot. Parking for the other cottages is just outside the fence in the grassy area on the other side of the street. We ask that you please limit the number of cars per cottage to two.

Our cottages are thoroughly cleaned between rentals. The cost of this cleaning is included in your rental price and, where applicable, included in the "€œdog fee."€ If you would like to make arrangements for further cleanings during your stay we are happy to do so. However, additional cleanings will be at the renter'€™s expense.


TO MAKE A RESERVATION

Just click to RESERVE NOW ONLINE, -OR- text, call or email the rental manager at manager@montaukrow.com. Once you’ve settled on a cottage and the dates of your stay, we’ll pencil you in. Then we’ll send a rental agreement for you to sign. You’ll return the signed rental agreement with your NON-REFUNDABLE deposit and make a copy for your records. The rental manager will send you an email when the signed agreement and deposit arrives, thus confirming your reservation.


OUR RENTAL PERIODS:
WEEKLY/SHORTER-TERM RESERVATIONS

--By law, each cottage is permitted only three stays of 14 days or less between January 1 and June 30, an additional three stays of 14 days or less are permitted between July 1 and December 31. Once we have booked those six available periods, only stays of 15 days or longer will be permitted. See each cottage page for the availability of weekly stays.

MONTHLY/SEASONAL RESERVATIONS

--There is no limit to the number of monthly reservations each cottage may have. Well, except that during most years only 12 months are available for rental. Similarly, only one seasonal rental per season is available at each cottage.

MONTHLY & SEASONAL RESERVATION DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS:

50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will be due with the signed lease agreement.
The remaining 50% balance of the rental price is due at CHECK-IN.
WEEKLY & TWO WEEK RESERVATION DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS:
50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will be due with the signed lease agreement.
The remaining 50% balance of the rental price is due at check-in.

WINTER SEASON RESERVATION DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS:

We require a security deposit equal to one month's rent or, if the lease includes a dog(s), the security deposit required is equal to one and one-half month's rent.


TO CHECK IN

Several days before your stay begins, we will contact you regarding your expected your arrival time and make sure that you have all the directions you need. Check-in begins 3pm, but anytime after 3pm and before 5 is fine if you make arrangements in advance. Remember, the remaining 50% of your rental price will be due at check-in.

TO CHECK OUT

Either give the keys to the reservations manager, or leave them on the kitchen counter and leave the door unlocked. We ask that you please leave the cottage by 12noon of your check-out date. (We have to have time to clean the cottages before the next renters arrive.)

PETS

Dogs are welcome at Millionaire's Row! We require a $250 dog fee for a monthly rental, $150 dog fee for a weekly rental, and $75 for a weekend rental. There is also an additional $50 fee that is applied for a 2nd dog for a weekly stay. A maximum of two dogs are allowed per cottage. No other animals (cats, birds, tigers, sharks etc.) are permitted on the compound. The dogs you bring must be friendly with humans and other dogs, and are not permitted to roam the compound freely. The compound is not fully fenced. Please keep your dog leashed at all times.

WANT TO RENT MORE THAN ONE COTTAGE?

You can absolutely rent more than one cottage for your stay. But, if your plan is to have the kids stay in one cottage and parents in another, please be sure the kids are mature enough to be alone with a fully functioning kitchen. We recommend that there be one responsible teenager or adult in each cottage to monitor any younger kids.

NO SHARES

Your rental agreement is non-transferable, and applies to you, your immediate family, and any guests you wish to bring so long as the total occupancy does not exceed the number of persons listed on your rental agreement as "maximum occupancy". Allowing another party to sublet, or dividing the rent and use of property with any persons not listed on the rental agreement, will be considered a breach of the rental agreement and result in your immediate eviction from the property.

OUR RATES

The rates listed on this website are only valid when the reservation is made through our reservations manager. Reservations made through other entities including, but not limited to, real estate agents and brokers may have rates higher than those listed here.

The general weekly and two week rates listed reflect the rates for a non-holiday rental period.

Holiday rental periods may have higher rates. Please contact the rental manager for specific rates and details on holiday pricing.

SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted inside any of the cottages.

RETURNED CHECKS

A $25 fee will be assessed for a returned/bounced check.
